Corporate FAQ - Art as a Service - Fine Art Photography

What is Art as a Service for corporate clients?
Art as a Service is a subscription that supplies, installs and rotates curated fine art photography artworks, exclusively by Andrew Pounder, across your offices, hospitality venues or public spaces on a regular schedule, with optional premium framing, maintenance and a 12‑month buy‑out.

    Who is this service for?
Businesses, interior designers and hospitality organisations across North East England seeking flexible, high‑impact art programmes without large upfront capital expenditure.

What makes you different from other art dealers?
Unlike traditional art dealers who act as intermediaries for multiple artists, I am the artist, the curator, and the service provider. When you work with Wall Space North, you are getting:

    - 100% Original, Exclusive Imagery: Every piece in my collection was captured by my own lens. You aren’t buying mass-produced stock or outsourced art; you are investing in a unique vision of the world—specifically focused on the evolution of Northeast England, from its industrial heritage to its modern tech-driven future.

    - An "Insider-Outsider" Perspective: My background in the tech sectors of London and Cambridge, combined with my roots in Darlington and Newcastle, allows me to capture regional landmarks with a sophisticated, fine-art aesthetic that resonates with modern corporate environments.

    - The "Art-as-a-Service" Model: I don’t just sell a frame and walk away. Through my Wall Space North subscription, I offer a circular "Art-as-a-Service" (AaaS) model. This allows businesses to keep their workspace dynamic with regular refreshes while treating the art as an operating expense (OpEx) rather than a major capital outlay.

    - Direct Accountability: From the initial consultation and room mock-ups to the final delivery and optional certificate of authenticity, you deal directly with me. This ensures total consistency in quality, style, and professional-grade archival production.

What subscription terms do you offer?
Standard corporate terms are 12 months per rotation. Custom cadences and multi‑site programmes are available for larger clients.

    How does artwork selection work?
We provide a large catalogue focused on North East England landscapes, urban themes and other curated collections, all exclusively by local fine art photographer Andrew Pounder. Clients can choose from pre‑curated sets or work with our curator for bespoke selections.

    Can we request bespoke commissions?
Yes. Bespoke commissions are available as an add‑on. We manage concept, production, approval and installation to match your brief and brand.

Is there an option to buy artworks outright?
Yes. After a 12‑month subscription you may buy selected pieces via our transparent buy‑out option. Buy‑out pricing is agreed in advance and included in your contract.

How do pricing and billing work?
Pricing is quoted per site and per rotation based on number/size of works, framing and installation needs. Billing is typically monthly or quarterly, but can also be paid in advance for the full 12 months commitment. Multi‑site and longer‑term agreements receive tiered pricing.

Can the programme scale across multiple sites?
Yes. We design scalable programmes with centralised curation, local installation schedules and consolidated invoicing for multi‑site rollouts.

    Where do you deliver to?
We can ship framed items UK-wide, but our primary business focus is for North East companies with offices in Northumberland (e.g. Morpeth, Blyth), Tyne and Wear (e.g. Newcastle, Sunderland, North Tyneside, South Tyneside), County Durham (e.g. Durham City, Darlington) and Tees Valley (e.g. Middlesbrough, Stockton).

What about delivery times and lead times for commissions?
Standard catalogue installations are scheduled within 2–6 weeks depending on availability and site access. Bespoke commissions have longer lead times; we provide a timeline at proposal stage.

How do we start or request a proposal?
Book a free consultation or site visit. We’ll assess your spaces, discuss objectives and deliver a tailored proposal with visuals, timelines and pricing.
